
KENDRA JOHNSON

Motown native Kendra Johnson began her musical journey in the church, where her childhood passion for singing first took root. Over the years, she’s blossomed into a dynamic and versatile artist, seamlessly blending gospel, jazz, neo soul, R&B, and more. Her sound is a rich tapestry woven from these influences, reflecting both depth and soul.

She’s graced stages across the East Coast, Midwest, Carolinas, and the DC area, with notable performances at The Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture, The Fillmore, Twins Jazz Club, Montpelier Arts Center, and the Mid-Atlantic Jazz Festival.
​
Kendra’s voice has been featured at high-profile events including AT&T’s Black History celebration, the National Association of Broadcasters gala honoring Jon Bon Jovi, and programs for Howard University Law School, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., the U.S. Naval Academy, FDA, and The Victim’s Rights Foundation.

Kendra has graced the airwaves on WPFW 89.3’s LIVE @ 5, performed at the Strathmore Arts Complex, and lent her vocal talents to a broad range of local artist projects across the DMV. After collaborating with a diverse array of gifted musicians, she’s now stepping into the spotlight with her own recording project in the works.

CORAE YOUNG

Corae Young is the Chief Executive Officer of Young Consulting Services, Inc. (YCS). YCS is a consulting firm that provides training and technical assistance to faith based and nonprofit organizations that help to build organizational capacity.
​
While this business has been in existence for three years, Corae has been providing
these services to organizations across the DC metropolitan area for more than 15
years due to her expertise in the field.
​
In 2022, Corae was selected as one of the top 13 “Southern Maryland Women to
Watch” by Southern Maryland News. She is currently part of the 2026 cohort for
Leadership Southern Maryland. As part of her role with Young Consulting, she serves
on the planning committee for the Nonprofit Institute at the College of Southern
Maryland’s annual Nonprofits Conference, and on the Nonprofit Institute’s Strategic
Partner Council. She is an independent, licensed consultant trained by the Standards
for Excellence Institute, to help nonprofits improve accountability and best practices,
using the Institute's resources and expertise.
She also operates as a Certified Church Consultant through Thom Rainer’s Church Consultation University, helping churches to fulfill their mission in a strategic way. Corae also serves faithfully at her home church, Free Gospel Church of Bryans Road. Due to her two children’s history with premature births, she also serves on the NICU Patient and Family Advisory Council for Quality and Safety (PFACQS) at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.

Corae has a double Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Sociology from the College of
William and Mary, and a Master’s degree in Public Administration with a
concentration in Nonprofit Management from American University.
Corae has a sincere heart for those who are most vulnerable and believes that collaboration is key in serving people effectively. She currently resides in Waldorf with her husband, Louis, daughters, Jada & Joanna and retriever Sky.

Mary Davis Holt is a consultant and principal of Mary Davis Holt Enterprises. She is also an engaged trustee of American Funds where she chairs the contracts committees for two board clusters. She is an executive coach and keynote speaker
on business, women, and leadership.
As an in-demand voice, Mary shares her hard-won insights and promotes new rules
for success to a wide range of audiences. She also has worked with dozens of Fortune
500 corporations to successfully support their higher potential women through
leadership development programs and coaching.
After her long corporate career and prior to starting her own company, she was a
Partner at Flynn Heath Holt Leadership as entrepreneur and consultant in the
women’s leadership development field. At Time Warner, with oversight Mary held
executive positions that ranged from finance to information technology, marketing,
human resources, manufacturing, and distribution. She held a number of leadership
roles in the publishing group including Senior Executive Vice President and Chief
Operating Officer of Time Life, Inc.
Among her many career highlights, Mary led the management of worldwide
manufacturing distribution for all of Time Inc.’s magazines (e.g., Time, Fortune,
People, Sports Illustrated). She also served as president of Time Life Books and Time
Life Kids. Her book, Break Your Own Rules: How to Change the Patterns of Thinking
That Block Women’s Path to Power, which she co-authored with her FHHL business
partners Jill Flynn and Kathryn Heath, landed on the best-seller lists of The New York
Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and The Washington Post. Mary’s next
book The Influence Effect, which she co-authored with her previous partners, was
released in November of 2017.

Mary earned a B.A. from Salem College and an M.B.A. from New York University’s
Graduate Business School. She has served on a number of non-profit boards. Mary is
based in the Washington, DC area.

Sandra Hofmeister is the President and Owner of A&S Construction, LLC a Certified Woman Owned and Minority Owned Business. Sandra’s is an Accountant turned into Construction. She moved to Florida in 2006 where she worked in Accounting, and then she moved to Frederick in 2010, where she broke into the male-dominated industry of construction, working her way up from the administrative side to managing operations and overseeing production for a company over $10M of revenue a year, as the only Hispanic woman in that company.
Today, she is not only a successful construction company owner, but a force on the local business scene, serving on various committees like the Business Equity Coalition for the Frederick Chamber of Commerce, where she is also one of the Board of Directors and an Ambassador. She is the Immediate Past President of the Professional Women in Building for the Frederick County Building Industry Association and past liaison of their Board of Directors. She volunteers for the Community Foundation and was recently reappointed to the Affordable Housing Council of Frederick County and the City of Frederick. She is a member of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Panel of the City of Frederick and she is also a member of the Washington County Building Association, and Core member of the Frederick Women in Trades Group. She is also an esteemed Mentor with Woman-to-Woman Mentoring, a non-profit dedicated to lift women in any field.
She has been recognized with the 2022 and 2023 Trades Person of the Year Award, and she is also one of the Top 50 EmPowered Leaders of Frederick County. She recently received the SHERO Awards 2025 as an example of service and resilience. She has been featured in Living Local DMV Morning TV show, 930 WFMD Free Talk radio and has been interviewed for the Baltimore Post Examiner, and Good Morning Frederick Podcast. She is the cover of the Home Edition 2024 of SASS Magazine among others.
When she is not working or serving the community, she enjoys watching documentaries or spending time with friends.

DR. NICOLE DAVIS

Nicole L. Davis, Ph.D., is passionate about family, women, and leadership development. She is a wife of over three decades and the mother of two adult sons. A Navy veteran, Dr. Davis is also a certified mediator, Christian coach, harassment prevention expert, professor, and author. Most recently, she founded and now serves as President of the Maryland Christian Chamber of Commerce, where she is leading efforts to advance business, faith, and family by uniting leaders and business owners globally to promote success in life and business —God’s way. In addition, Dr. Davis is the co-founder of Empower to Engage, a mediation, coaching, and consulting firm based in Owings Mills, Maryland.
