Cornerstone for Women Leaders Partners with Hagerstown Community College to Deliver Faith-Based Leadership Training

Hagerstown, MD – Cornerstone for Women Leaders formalized a contractual partnership with Hagerstown Community College (HCC) in December 2023, marking a significant step in expanding access to faith-based leadership training for women in the region. This collaboration enables Cornerstone to offer its signature courses through HCC’s Workforce Solutions and Continuing Education division, reaching a broader audience of women seeking professional growth rooted in biblical principles.

The partnership reflects both organizations’ commitment to equipping leaders who excel in their fields while maintaining strong ethical foundations. Through this agreement, Cornerstone delivers high-quality, interactive training designed for women in diverse industries and career stages.

“This partnership with Hagerstown Community College is a milestone in making our leadership training accessible to more women than ever before,” said Shadae Paul, President & CEO. “By integrating our programs into HCC’s professional development offerings, we’re creating new opportunities for women to receive faith-based leadership training.”
Though faith-based, Cornerstone’s on-campus training is non-denominational and does not include preaching, prayer, or proselytizing, to maintain full alignment with state and federal requirements.

This partnership solidifies Cornerstone’s role in higher education, while pioneering a model for how community-based faith organizations can partner with local colleges to deliver professional training. It also expands opportunities for Christian professional development in higher education that supports Christians throughout their careers.
