Cornerstone for Women Leaders Launches Scholarships to Increase Access to Leadership Training
Hagerstown, MD – Cornerstone for Women Leaders announces the launch of its scholarship program, designed to build equity and expand access so that women from all socioeconomic backgrounds can participate in high-quality, faith-based leadership training. Scholarships are available for on-campus courses and on-site training programs to ensure that financial restrictions do not prevent women from growing personally, professionally, or spiritually.
The program is funded through the generosity of individual donors and community partners. Additional funding for participants to receive Cornerstone’s training is available through Hagerstown Community College and the Western Maryland Consortium for Workforce Training. Cornerstone is committed to providing professional development in a model more aligned with educational training than a corporate business.

“Our goal is to reach all women, regardless of financial circumstances,” said Shadae Paul, President & CEO of Cornerstone for Women Leaders. “We are aware that cost is one of the most common barriers to professional development. Our scholarship allows us to help women overcome those restrictions. When women have the opportunity to grow as leaders, they create a ripple effect of positive change in their families, workplaces, and communities.”
By offering scholarships in combination with its faith-integrated leadership training, Cornerstone provides women with tools for professional growth, spiritual formation, and community impact. The program reinforces the organization’s mission to equip women while ensuring that leadership opportunities are accessible to all.
